about

-Too much world is a personal statement in many ways about having consumed too much world, to much of the material and solid and that it's in many ways choking out my connection to the world of spirit, of people, and even whatever my authentic self might have been could I have lived in another time. I have touched on this subject in many of my songs over the years -"We Were Human" is one, and on TMW there is I hope a sense of myself vanishing, or being altered in some unnatural way. So, these photos, part of an visual/invisible essay that only the artist could really understand/feel. The shadows suggest a less detailed and somewhat formless version of myself, my head, nose, hair, the facade of what I am verses the vapor creature I actually am, that we are all. I am hoping I have touched on some universal experiences on this album, in the lyrics where a sense of self awareness is running up against the reality of the technological technocracy collision course. Am I living this time in the most spiritually elevated way that I can? Should I implode, unplug, and run into a cave? It's where I'm from just like all ye stooges.
